Glen Cove St. Patrick’s Day Parade 2025
Join us for Long Island’s premier St. Patrick’s Day celebration at the Glen Cove St. Patrick’s Day Parade. Since 1989, this beloved event has brought the community together in a vibrant display of Irish heritage, culture, and tradition.
The 2025 Grand Marshal is Joe McDonald, a highly respected figure known for his contributions to sports journalism, website development, and real estate, as well as his dedication to Long Island’s Irish community. Assisting him as Grand Marshal’s Aide is Irene Abrams, a devoted local Hibernian.
Parade Details
Starting Point: Finley Middle School at Forest Avenue and Dosoris Lane, Glen Cove
Route: Through downtown Glen Cove, ending at St. Patrick’s Parish Hall
What to Expect
Traditional Irish pipe bands and live musicians
Marching groups representing diverse community organizations
Vintage cars, costumed performers, and fire and police units
A festive after-parade party at St. Patrick’s Parish Hall
Parking & Transportation:
Ample parking is available at Glen Cove’s downtown municipal parking garages. Limited parking is also available at St. Patrick’s lot on a first-come basis. A shuttle bus will be running throughout the day, connecting parking areas, formation zones, and spectator areas.
