Pet Rules & Care at the Bellport Inn

At The Bellport Inn, we understand how important pets are to many of our guests. While we love animals, we’ve established a Limited Pet Policy to ensure the safety and comfort of all guests during their stay with us. We want to create a welcoming environment for everyone, while also maintaining the peaceful and relaxing atmosphere that the Inn is known for.

To accommodate pet owners, we do offer Pet-Friendly rooms, but please note that these rooms are limited and require advance arrangements. To secure one of these rooms, guests must contact the property directly. We encourage you to email us at info@bellportinn.com as soon as you’re ready to book, so we can confirm the availability of a Pet-Friendly room. It’s important to note that without direct communication with the property, Pet-Friendly accommodations cannot be guaranteed, so please don’t hesitate to reach out to us in advance to avoid any inconvenience.

Our Pet Policy allows for one pet per reservation, and we do have size restrictions in place for the safety and comfort of all guests. Pets must be under 20 pounds, and there is a Non-Refundable Pet Fee of $250 that will be applied to your reservation. This fee covers the additional cleaning and care that goes into preparing our rooms for all guests, ensuring that every guest has a clean and welcoming environment, even after pets have stayed.

While we are happy to accommodate pets in designated rooms, please be aware that pets are not permitted on the Ho Hum Ferry to the beach. We kindly ask that you make alternate arrangements if you plan on taking the ferry or visiting the beach during your stay. Our goal is to ensure that every guest, whether traveling with pets or not, has a pleasant and safe experience at The Bellport Inn.
